First stop – minus 20 degrees, Lviv

31.01.2014
My first winter trip was an unusual experience. The route was set very randomly, but the important point was to arrive in Leszno, Poland. I always go back to this town because there are so many great people that changed me.

However, the first destination was Lviv, Ukraine. An extraordinary city which reminded me a lot of Polish architecture, considering it was a Polish city before.
The biggest issue was -20 degrees outside, which we survived thanks to many layers of clothes. I felt like I was in the coldest place on the planet, and thank the one who invented the McDonald’s where I spent a few hours warming up.
I visited the Arsenal Museum-Музей-Арсенал, where I fell in love with war art of the medieval period. I hate guns because, in the wrong hands, it becomes the destruction of lives, but the weapons that I saw in the museum left me speechless because of the structure and decoration on each and every weapon.
One day is not enough to thoroughly understand the city and discover all its beauty. Therefore, I plan to return to Lviv, but when it will be warm.
