Italy: rainy Lecco

16.02.2014

Day of our reunion.

During our short stay in Italy, we managed to go and see a beautiful town- called Lecco. Of course, it was raining – February without rain in northern Italy? No way! Not complaining at all. Walking and enjoying the lake view in the light rain was beautiful.

A funny thing came to my mind while walking on the shore and when we got to the point to see a boat and on it many seagulls. Remember that scene from “Finding Nemo” where seagulls wanted to eat Nemo’s dad, and they were like “mine, mine, mine”? It was a really happy and funny flashback. But if you don’t know what I am talking about, then see this.

In Lecco I’ve tried my first espresso.

The best part of the day was when we went back to Milan and went to my Italian friend’s band practice – as he is an amazing guitar player.  And after a while, our friend from Turkey (another volunteer from our EVS team) joined us! It was amazing to see two people from our group and to remember our beautiful moments during our EVS.

Unfortunately, our reunion was just for a day, or more exactly for an evening, as my friend and I. had to head off to Venice the next morning.

I just can’t wait for a reunion of 12 crazy volunteers from Leszno.
